Healing from disordered eating - Thrope Therapy

Eating disorders present in many different ways.

If you feel like there is a voice in your head (we call this the Eating Disorder voice or Ed for short) that is telling you to engage in eating disorder behaviors, it is time to shut that voice down. That voice can feel like a friend to you at times, but really it is an enemy. This voice can be very harmful to you if left unchecked. Our therapists can help you turn down the volume on the eating disorder voice and hear more loudly the voices that support and affirm you.

If you are struggling with your relationship to food, body image or exercise it can be helpful to work with a trained therapist on these challenges.

We work from a Health-At-Every-Size (HAES) framework and incorporate Intuitive Eating in our treatment of eating disorders. We work closely with each client to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their individual needs. We collaborate closely with each client’s treatment team.
